Dr Mark Toner has, over a 20-year period, made an outstanding contribution to the oil and gas, petrochemical and chemistry industry. As former CEO ofKvaerner, he has made a substantial contribution to the innovative management of technological industries especially in the Queensland clean fuels project. Currently Dr Toner is on the Board of the CRC for signal and information processing and chairs its technology commercialization arm and is a director of Melbourne IT. As President of the Business/Higher education Round Table and the Chairman of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, Mark Toner has championed the cause of education.
